| Review: | Great school in top location Last month I was for 3 weeks in this small Spanish school in Merida, Mexico. I had a basic course with 4 hours a day. It was a fantastic experience because everything was so cute ! There was a really good friendly and family environment in the school and from my point of view the teachers are well educated and had a lot of patience and that´s very important for me. In class we made games and read articles about Mexican culture, society, history and economy so I got all the knowledge about Mexico what I was looking for. Also the location of the school was really good ! It’s close to Down Town and also close the Shopping Mall´s in the north of Merida. About Merida I loved the cultural live. After school I went Down Town because there are a lot of restaurants, gift-shops, bars, museums. At the weekend my family went shopping in the Mall´s and we watched movies in cinemas. On Saturday night we always stayed in Down Town because of the cultural events. It was very nice to eat some typical Mexican or Yucatan food and see the tradicional dances. Before the trip I was a little concerned about the safety in Mexico but after that trip I´m sure that Merida is a really safe place. I never heard about problems and when we walked home after our “Saturday Night Dancing Adventure” in the disco in Down Town, the street´s were super calm. The best of all was the trip to Cuzama ! It´s a small village with three “Cenotes” which are caves with water. We started in Cuzama and with a small coach we went to visit the Cenotes and I swam there and I get really excited by these cute impressions. Finaly this little school with their teachers and their administration and also Merida was a very nice and recommendable experience. Comments [ 0 ] |
