| Review: | best school I found in Madrid I want to give you my opinion on schools I attended in Madrid. First I went last spring to AIL Madrid, which said on the website that it is in the center but it was not. The school is extremely small and all is very basic and a bit chaotic. Course prices are pretty expensive and it is not even a school accepted by Cervantes Instituto. You should always look for this. It gives you a sort of quality guarantee. As I like Madrid and have friends there I came back in summer and went to Eureka as it is a Cervantes accepted school. The school is very central, which is nice; class sizes are also small, but there were a lot of older students which I did not like. It is sometimes difficult in conversation classes to talk to people which could be your parents. The school is a bit old-fashioned, but teachers were nice. In autumn I came again for two weeks and chose Inhispania. The school is Cervantes accepted and already beforehand they gave a quick customer service and it is also not expensive. There are two school buildings and both very central and nicely decorated. It is targeted at students and young people and I made a lot of friends. I found my teacher very good. The school has a lot of students but it feels still personal as students are in two buildings. As I liked it a lot I came back this winter and enjoyed it again. I had two new teachers and they were also very good and could explain things in an easy way. I will definitely take a new course in summer this year. People are friendly and helpful and sometimes we got free tapas on Fridays after school, which is a nice detail. I am writing this as I see negative reviews and seldom positive ones but all my friends and me we liked this school a lot and prices are also very good. Comments [ 0 ] |

| Review: | Great for short stay, not for long stay. My first impression about this school was they only wants the students' money without a sufficient service in return. As a student coming from a non-EU country, I was treated bad and so my other friends would say. The Manager, especially, didn't really care with my problems (course and accommodation) and basically just want me to shut up and go to the class, although, I already paid for a 30 week course. There were 9 people in my class, but the students in the class was varied from different level. For example, some people in my class didn't even have sufficient learning to be able to follow the class, and yet they were put in my class. As a result, we had to repeat the things that had already been covered on the week before the new people came. These students even mentioned to the teacher that they should had been put in a lower level. But, the teacher admitted the administration and coordination of this school is very bad and maybe the school just doesn't want to have a new class with only 3 people in it. Later during my course, I found out that another girl in my class was also not happy with the school because she was supposed to be in a higher level (her online test showed that too!) but the school put her in a much lower level because of the reason that the class she was supposed to be in was full. I have to agree with Jen from Seattle, one of my teachers was slow and dragging a lot of time and we ended up learning only a few things. I was pretty lucky with my accommodation, because although it was not great but it was much better than what my other friends had. The shared apartments are indeed in 15-20 minutes walking distance. One of my frieds have to stay at a horrible (dirty, messy, noisy) place provided by the school because the room that he was supposed to stay was not ready until 3 days later. Another friend couldn't sleep at night, because the apartment that she was staying always had a party at night until 4am in the morning. Moreover, there were 14 people in the flat with only 2 bathrooms! How horrible is that? So, my advice is, if you want to go to this school, take the course for no longer than 2 months. But personally, I won't recommend this school to any of my friends. If you want to learn Spanish for a long period, find other school which is better, proffesional and treat students with respect. | Review: | great experience I have just come back from a 6 week stay in Madrid and I can honestly say that inhispania made the whole stay an unforgettable one. I saw the negative review below and I cannot believe that we went to the same school. The school is run by young people and has a fresh and inviting feel. Also I had a bit of a bad experience in Madrid ( completely my own fault- my bag with my wallet and Passport got stolen because I left it unattended while having drinks in a bar) and the school was extremely helpful. It’s not easy being in a strange city when you have lost all your money and ID. They even helped me out with a bit of cash and helped me stop all my cards, find the closest police office and the embassy. All I can say is that I will always think back very positively about my time at Inhispania. Accommodation was good (I stayed in student apartment, -no frills but good value. We were in the very centre of Madrid within 5-10 minutes walking distance of all the going out places and the school) I am sure there are more posh schools in Madrid, but I would not want to have been anywhere but there. Also- there is a free internet café at school as well as free wifi. Very practical. Comments [ 0 ] |

| Review: | Madrid I found Inhispania at the internet and took a course there in January and February this year. First of all, I would like to say it was a great experience. Teachers very helpful and nice. Sometimes we went out with them after class. I met a lot of people from many countries and made plenty of new friends. I love Madrid. Nightlife is good, people go out every night-sometimes we had trouble to make it for school the next day. I will definitely go back. The room I had with Inhispania was in Gran Via, which means just a 5 min walk to Malasańa and 10 min to Huertas (the areas we used to go out) I shared with other students of my age. Rooms were clean and apartment had a good atmosphere, even had wifi. Hasta pronto Comments [ 0 ] |
