| Review: | School is fine; accomadation is patchy In summary, the two weeks I spent at don Quijote Madrid did the job - I learned a great deal and feel much better about my Spanish going forward. However, an issue is the accomodation. I opted to stay with a Spanish family. The 'family' I was put with turned out to be a single person. I ate meals in a little kitchen on my own, and often didn't speak to her at all durig a day because she was asleep during the early evening when I came home. So all in all not the immersive experience I expected (or paid for). Other students who stayed in flats organised through the school struggled with no hot water, filthy floors/walls etc. |
