| Review: | Great Language School Almost everything about this school was great...I had 4 different teachers throughout the month I was there, and three of them were fantastic. The fourth was a substitute and frankly, a horrible teacher. But that one exception aside, it was a wonderful school. Its located about a 30 minute walk from the city center in a beautiful old mansion. The facilities are VERY nice, and free coffee, tea, and cookies are offered every day, as well as cake on Fridays. There is also a cafe downstairs, and many restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Also, the wi-fi internet speed in the school is fantastic. This may seem random, but there are very few free wifi spots in St.Petersburg, and the school's wifi downloads movies super fast. The activities organized are fantastic (to the palaces around St.Petersburg for example - with an optional translation of the tour in english), and the staff is incredible. When I lost my bank card, they even lent me money to get by until my new one arrived in the mail. Also, as for accommodation, I highly recommend the student apartment. 30 second walk from the school, VERY large and clean, with a full kitchen and private rooms. I had a wonderful experience with this school, and I highly highly recommend it to anyone looking to study in Russia! Comments [ 0 ] |
