Montpellier - an experience!
I spent two weeks at Accent Francais in Montpellier in June on the 'Mature Adult' French course and it was a wonderful experience. While I am a regular visitor to Provence, this was my first visit to Languedoc-Roussillon and Montpellier. The course was very well run and geared towards adults. While it had been many years since I undertook french study, the course format was excellent and the teaching method first class! I was fortunate to be in a small class (6 students in total of varying nationalities) and my classmates were wonderful company both inside and outside the school. The trips and outings attached to the course were wonderful and I was 'blown away' with the excursions to Avignon and Arles. I stayed with a host family on a B & B basis and the family were most welcoming and hospitable. As the course came to an end, I left Montpellier determined to return! I would have no hesitation taking a similar course with Accent Francais in the future - it was an experience! |
