Learning English: not only a matter of school!!! I am a student of Castle School of English in Brighton among several who have the same goal: be fluent in the language of Shakespeare.
It’s obvious that the school is very useful in order to achieve this goal.
But most of the students are foreigners, they know no one in Brighton, they have no friend, they don’t know the English customs, they need points of reference, and to conclude they need to practice their English language.
Believe it or not, the case of these students is not compromised because all of them find a favourable help of “Liz”.
Elizabeth may not be the Queen of England but she gets closer to a queen.
Liz is our teacher, she’s a good teacher, she’s funny, she’s passionate, and to sum up she loves her job.
I’ve forgotten that she’s a young pretty lady. ;-)
She is aware about the student’s issues and it’s why she invites all the students to go out every Thursday night. We can go to the pubs or to attend a British event like dog racing. While these nights, you can make friend and meet some interesting people, and most of the time you speak English so you practice.
With these meetings, you understand the British specificities and it makes easier your integration.
You are sure to improve your language with this way and one person was the first to anticipate that: Liz aka “The Woman”. ;-)
You need to improve your language, so come with us on Thursday night!!!
